Have you noticed that recently Michelin Guide had been expending to many new regions? Moscow, Vancouver, Vietnam, Malaysiaā€¦ Maybe way more regions than in earlier years?

Someoneā€™s got to pay the bill for such expansion.

And someone does. Local tourism boards do pay indeed.

So, if your local tourism board isnā€™t willing to pay, donā€™t put your hopes up too high for the Michelin Guide to ever come to your region.
